All skating participants at the Northeast Derby Convention are required to have individual accidental insurance coverage from one of these providers:

• USARS (Roller Derby)
• WFTDA
• MRDA
• CRDi
• RSC (Roller Derby)  

If you will be on skates at any point during the Convention, you are required to have insurance coverage by one of these providers. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you also carry personal primary medical insurance, though it cannot be used as a substitution for accidental coverage from one of the above providers.

There are no insurance requirements for spectators.

Great! Your insurance will be verified during the registration process. Below you will find the information necessary for us to verify your coverage.

• USARS: USARS roller derby membership card or USARS roller derby membership insurance ID number.
• WFTDA & MRDA: WFTDA or MRDA insurance ID number.
• CRDi: USA Accident Certificate and ID number.
• RSC: Roller Derby Notification of Travel document and membership card.

I do not have insurance! OR I cannot verify my coverage!

That’s okay, you can still skate! USARS can provide roller derby event insurance passes for skaters who cannot verify their insurance. A single event insurance pass costs $20 and can be purchased during registration.

If you have a USARS membership as a roller derby referee or another USARS category (e.g. speed, artistic, rink hockey, etc.) AND wish to participate as a skater in classes, you must purchase a USARS roller derby event pass at registration.
